I have been a tour guide in Seattle since 2007. I started giving tours as a "put off getting a real job" job and fell in love with guiding. It's the perfect job for an intellectual dilettante like me; I like to learn a bit about everything, but not enough about anything to have marketable career skills.
When I'm not giving tours, I drive for King County Metro for the benefits.
I just learned that the original Declaration of Sentiments (the women's rights declaration signed at Seneca Falls in 1848) is lost to history. If I could travel back in time I'd attend the conference and snatch the document for posterity!
